Dr. Williams specializes in robotic assisted joint replacement, endoscopic carpal tunnel release, knee arthroscopy, and fracture care.

A graduate from University of Texas Health Science Center and George Washington University, Dr. Williams joined Centennial Orthopedics and Podiatry in July of 2021. Prior to that, she was in private practice in Roseburg for 14 years.

Raised in New Jersey, the daughter of a physician father and nurse mother, Dr. Williams initially considered a law career, but ultimately chose medicine and a specialty in orthopedics, the
the branch of medicine that deals with the correction of deformities of bones or muscles.

“Bone is one of the few organ systems that can regenerate itself and heal,” Dr. Williams says. “If someone breaks a bone, as a physician I can realign it, and as it heals, look at X-rays to verify that we’ve done a good job. Plus, watching the body heal is exciting.”

Dr. Williams is also a physician member of Mercy’s New Strides Total Joint Replacement team. Patients benefit from this dedicated joint rehabilitation approach which offers education prior to surgery, a unified approach to surgical care and immediate access to physical therapy while still hospitalized, to help improve and enhance recovery.

In addition, Dr. Williams also provides emergency orthopedic care for patients with fractures and other joint traumas that are being treated in Mercy’s Emergency department.

Dr. Williams and her husband have three children and enjoy camping, hiking to waterfalls, going to music events and winemaking.
